Welcome to Wizz Airlines,
Known as 'Little England' to the rest of the Caribbean, Barbados marries West Indian traditions with the mother country; Bajan hospitality with afternoon tea, and cricket matches with reggae rhythms. The British theme extends further, to a beautiful hilly area known as Scotland and even a statue of Lord Nelson in Bridgetown. Beyond its coral sand wizz airlines and turquoise sea are colonial
plantation houses, landscaped gardens and hidden caves to explore.
Set in six acres of gardens along Dover Beach, this all-suite property has excellent facilities for the whole family. Pool/Garden View Junior Suites have king-size or 2 double beds, sitting area, bath/shower, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, satellite TV, telephone, clock radio, mini-fridge, safe, hairdryer, iron & ironing board and patio on the ground floor with pool or garden view
Boasting the longest beach frontage of any hotel in Barbados, Almond Beach Village offers fantastic facilities for families, singles and couples alike. Standard rooms have a king-size or twin beds, bath & shower, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, satellite TV, telephone, radio, coffee making facilities, safe, hairdryer, iron & ironing board and balcony or patio with garden view

Despite being just 21 miles long and 14 miles wide, this teardrop coral island is well known for its hundreds of soft white sand wizz airlines. Barbados is one of the most majestic islands in the southern Caribbean, and the majority of resorts are found on
the protected western side between Speightstown and Bridgetown. Further south you'll find St Lawrence, or 'The Gap', where the sound of reggae beats will fill your ears long into the night.
There's plenty of action off the beach and away from the bars too; keen divers flock to the Soup Bowl's bay at stunning Bathsheba on the east coast and golfers are spoilt for choice with the championship Royal Westmoreland and Barbados Golf Course as well as the three courses at Sandy Lane. For those wanting to see the real Barbados hit the road to take in all the quaint seaside towns, sugarcane plantations, gardens, and English country churches.
Currency
Barbados Dollars. US Dollars are widely accepted, as are major credit and debit cards.
Tourist/Visa/health information:
British Passport holders do not require a visa to enter Barbados for tourist stays up to 1 month only. Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months. Hepatitis A, Polio and Typhoid immunisation and malaria tablets are recommended for protection against disease. Yellow fever immunisation is required if arriving from an infected country
or area.
Head towards the Atlantic Coast and take in some of the most visited attractions on the island; Andromeda Botanical Garden, Farley Hill National Park, Barbados Wildlife Reserve, and Harrison's Cave. For those wanting a true Bajan buy to take back home, Mount Gay rum distilled on the island since the early 1700s is reputedly the oldest in the world and is sure to remind you of lazy sunsets sipping cocktails.
